The Global Migration Trends Report 2022 estimates that by 2035 there will be around a billion digital nomads worldwide.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What are digital nomads?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>They are workers who do not need to work from a conventional physical office and who choose a way of life that lets them travel and work remotely from anywhere in the world. A way of enjoying different places, cities and countries while combining leisure with work.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Is Portugal a magnet for digital nomads?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Proximity to the sea, broadband internet, the cost of living, safety, equality between different communities, the health system, transport and housing costs have drawn more and more digital nomads to Portuguese cities.<\/p>\n<p>According to the study carried out for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.savills.co.uk\/blog\/article\/327927\/international-property\/why-lisbon-is-the-best-place-to-live-for-an-executive-nomad.aspx\"><strong>Savills Executive Nomad Index<\/strong><\/a>, Lisbon takes first place as the best city for digital nomads to work from. The Algarve comes fourth.<\/p>\n<p>In another study, by Voyages et Travail and published by Kayak, Portugal was rated the best country for remote work, with a score of 100\/100. It competed alongside major European cities such as Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Geneva, Lisbon, London, Lyon, Rome, Venice and Vienna.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Is <em>coworking<\/em> a suitable space for digital nomads to work in?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A <em>coworking<\/em> space provides an environment well suited to remote work, since it offers many of the services of a conventional office along with everything needed to work online. It also offers a range of plans that match what a digital nomad is looking for.<\/p>\n<p>Remote work has its drawbacks, since you have to find a suitable environment in which to get the work done. That is where <em>coworking<\/em> spaces become relevant, because what you need is a space with a good atmosphere, relaxed and organised.<\/p>\n<p>Caf\u00e9s, libraries, hotels and shopping centres are often the places people end up working from remotely, but they do not offer the best conditions.<\/p>\n<p>Choosing a business centre that provides <em>coworking<\/em> space is a real asset to your work.
