The importance of mental health and well-being in companies<\/h1>\n

Recognized as a mental illness by the World Health Organization since 2022, burnout<\/em><\/strong> results from physical and mental exhaustion.<\/p>\n

As can be seen in the graph below, according to the data collected by Small Business Prices<\/em>,<\/a> in the European Union, Portugal ranks first as the country most likely to contract burnout.<\/em><\/p>\n

As we can see in this graph, despite being the 4th country with the most hours worked per week, Portugal is the 3rd country with the lowest wages. This imbalance is reflected in the lack of happiness among workers, which doesn't reach 6 points. An alarming result for the well-being of Portuguese workers.<\/p>\n

Burnout<\/em> - What is it?<\/h3>\n

A WHO classifies Burnout<\/em><\/strong>as a syndrome resulting from a lack of stress management in the workplace.<\/p>\n

It is characterized by three main symptoms:<\/p>\n
